A loose colorless gem glassy crystal of topaz. Cleaved on the base, this sits perfectly by itself or display and shows nicely all around. Minimal damage present along one crystal edge as shown up close in the video. This weighs 166.58 g. The specimen comes with a previous label from the collection of Ray DeMark.

Historically, these rich mineral veins became globally famous for yielding exceptionally transparent gemstone crystals, particularly aquamarine and tourmaline. Artisanal and commercial mining operations have targeted these weathered saprolite zones and hard-rock veins for generations, turning the city into a major international hub for gemstone trading, cutting, and exporting.
