Very fine pink crystallized rhodochrosite throughout this hematite matrix. These show rhombohedral crystals measuring to 0.4 cm in size. The hematite matrix is neatly brecciated. One of the previous labels that comes with the specimen notes that this was collected in 1952. In great condition.
