Pyromorphite
specimen number:
9120001
location:
Midnite Mine, Burke, Shoshone Co., Idaho, USA
description: Unusual an interesting prismatic crystals of pyromorphite to 2.0 cm in length aesthetic over the top of a 6.0 x 4.0 x 3.5 cm breccia chip matrix. Complete all-around with very minimal micro-chipping present. The crystals are hollowed out at the terminations. I have seen these in the past labeled as some sort of pseudomorph, but I think they are just pyromorphite. Collected in the 1960s by Jack Crowley. Shipping weight: 0.16 pounds. Ex Charles Noll collection.
Size: 6.0 x 4.0 x 3.5 cm (small-cabinet)
Collection: Charles Noll
