An excellent large example for the species with glistening lustrous terminated crystals of hemimorphite averaging 2 to 2.5 cm in height coming off matrix. This is in great condition. There is a slight reddish-brown color throughout due to the presence of iron oxide.

Santa Eulalia is a historic mining town located just east of Chihuahua City in Mexico. Founded during the Spanish colonial era in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, the settlement grew around one of the richest silver, lead, and zinc deposit districts in North America. The tremendous wealth generated by its mines helped finance the construction of the grand Chihuahua Cathedral and drove the early economic development of the region. Today, it remains renowned among historians and mineral collectors alike for its deep underground workings and rich heritage.
