Brilliant lustrous terminated prismatic crystals of hemimorphite to 2.5 cm in size richly scattered throughout the top of a matrix that is coated with glistening micro crystals of colorless willemite. A neat association specimen that is in very good condition.

Santa Eulalia is a historic mining town located just east of Chihuahua City in Mexico. Founded during the Spanish colonial era in the late sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries, the settlement grew around one of the richest silver, lead, and zinc deposit districts in North America. The tremendous wealth generated by its mines helped finance the construction of the grand Chihuahua Cathedral and drove the early economic development of the region. Today, it remains renowned among historians and mineral collectors alike for its deep underground workings and rich heritage.
