Bright lustrous penetration twinned crystals of galena measuring to 3.5 cm in size across the top of this matrix with black crystallized sphalerite. The specimen is in very good condition as seen. This type of twinning and galena is often erroneously referred to as the spinel twin law, these are however flattened penetration law twins.
