A superb combination specimen with a brilliant mirror bright lustrous galena crystal measuring 2.7 cm on edge across the top of this matrix with golden yellow crystals of calcite measuring to 3.7 cm in height. Good combination pieces such as this one were never terribly common in the mining district.
