Attractive combination piece, semi lustrous mostly gemmy yellow amber colored crystals of fluorite to 2.0 cm on edge hosting attractive gemmy glassy purple crystals of quartz, the variety known as an amethyst, measuring to 0.8 cm in size. This is in good condition. The specimen comes with a previous label from the collection of Jan Erik Larsen.

Sidi Ayed in the Boulemane region of Morocco features complex geological formations characterized by vein systems and carbonate host rocks that cut through the local terrain.
