A gorgeous combination piece with incredibly lustrous and gemmy purple cubic crystals of fluorite, the largest 1.3 cm on edge, the entire cluster almost 7.0 x 4.0 cm in size, set aesthetically up on a white dolomite crystal covered matrix. The color contrast on this makes for a beautiful piece. In super condition.

The Ke Ping region (Keping County) in Aksu, Xinjiang, China, is situated along the northwestern margin of the Tarim Basin and features a geological history spanning extensive Paleozoic sedimentary evolution. The area is structurally characterized by the Kepingtage tectonic uplift, exposing a well-preserved stratigraphic sequence of marine carbonates, clastic rocks, and prominent red-bed formations shaped by prolonged tectonic compression, faulting, and surface wind erosion. Recent finds here have produced wonderful specimens of fluorite with dolomite.
