Beautifully arranged lustrous crystals of fluorite showing multiple generations set up on matrix with white crystallized dolomite. This is in super condition. The fluorite crystals exhibit a dark red florescence under longwave ultraviolet light.

Ke Ping (Keping County) in Aksu, Xinjiang, China, has a long indigenous history linked to ancient Silk Road trade routes and nomadic settlements, though formal modern administrative structures evolved primarily during the 20th century without a single fixed historical opening or closing date for its regional mineral workings. Geologically, the area is situated along the northwestern margin of the Tarim Basin and the southwestern Tianshan structural belt, featuring complex sedimentary and thrust-faulted sequences. The local strata expose extensive marine carbonate rocks, clastic sequences, and evaporites ranging from the Paleozoic to the Mesozoic. Within these tectonic and hydrothermal settings, localized mineralization processes produce veins and pockets containing fluorite, carbonate minerals, and associated sulfides like pyrite.
