location:
San Antonio Mine, East Camp, Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico
description: In the mid-to late 1990s there was a very notable find of green smithsonite at this mine in Mexico. There were many good specimens available at the time, but they were quickly sold and dispersed. Really top pieces are rarely seen available today. This one is outstanding. Very fine green chatoyant crystals of smithsonite are attractively covering the front side of a 10.0 x 10.0 x 6.0 cm matrix. Completely damage free, the quality is outstanding. A real top quality cabinet example for this find.
Size: 10.0 x 10.0 x 6.0 cm (cabinet)
