Siderite with Quartz
specimen number:
4111165
location:
Jeffrey quarry, Pulaski Co., Arkansas, USA
description:
Pearly orange brown crystallized siderite across the top of a crystallized quartz matrix. There is some chipping on the outer edges of the piece to the quartz, I think still in good condition. Some iridescence present upon the quartz due to iron oxides. Interesting locality example for the species.
