description: A very neat example of tourmalinized pegmatite, consisting of blocky crystals of feldspar to 1.0 cm in size covering the front of a 13.0 x 10.0 x 5.0 cm matrix. Bright lustrous needlelike black crystals of schorl to 3.0 cm in length are scattered throughout, as well as smoky quartz crystals to 1.5 cm. In outstanding condition, this sits perfectly by itself for display. Shipping weight: 1.32 pounds. Ex Ed Raines collection.
