Bennett Pocket, 1976, 2nd Crosscut, Sweet Home Mine, Alma, Colorado, USA
description: An absolutely gorgeous floater cluster of cherry red translucent semi-lustrous rhombohedral rhodochrosite crystals, the largest 3.0 cm in size. Small gemmy purple crystals of fluorite to 0.7 cm, these neatly color zoned, are scattered throughout. Minor quartz present as well. This is a floater with no points of attachment and is complete all-around. Measures 5.0 x 3.5 x 1.5 cm in size. I think in excellent condition.
