A loose Herkimer diamond like grouping of colorless glassy gemmy quartz crystals. One large crystal is present, several smaller ones are attached. Complete all around and in great condition. The specimen comes with a previous label from the collection of Ray DeMark. Collected in the very early 2000's.

Paredon, located in the municipality of Ramos Arizpe in Coahuila, Mexico, is a desert region defined structurally by the complex folding and faulting of Cretaceous sedimentary strata typical of northeastern Mexico. The local geology features extensive carbonate sequences and hydrothermal fluid pathways that have created ideal cavity environments for mineral deposition. Within these geological pockets, the area has gained notable recognition among mineral collectors for producing unique quartz specimens, including skeletal, elestial, and window quartz crystals that frequently trap hydrocarbons.
