Pyromorphite
specimen number:
2301119
location:
Bunker Hill Mine, Shoshone Co., Idaho, USA
description: Beautiful two generation sample from this classic locality showing a 5.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm matrix covered with lustrous deep orange botryoidal crystallized pyromorphite, with one half of this mostly covered by needlelike lustrous yellow green prismatic crystals to 0.6 cm in length. Very minimal and sparse micro-chipping on the right side of the piece near the base. Still I think in very fine condition. Beautiful with the two tone color and to crystal generation. Displays beautifully on its own.
Size: 5.5 x 4.5 x 4.5 cm (miniature)
