specimen number:
4671011
location:
Sweetwater mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA
description:
A choice crystallized large plate of pyrite, these forming casts after now gone bladed anhydrite crystals. A yellow lustrous grouping of calcite crystals is present as well. This is crystallized completely all around and in very good condition. Impressive size for one of these. Good large examples of this type of pseudomorph have not been seen in the district for 30 years, and even then in this size were quite rare.
