specimen number:

location:
Sweetwater Mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA
description: Attractive and interesting multi-generation crystallization specimen showing large lustrous octahedral crystals of galena measuring to almost 2.5 cm across on a dolomite covered breccia matrix with lustrous cubic crystals of galena just under 2.0 cm on edge. These are very large crystals for octahedral galena from this locality. Very nice with the two different generations. This is crystallized completely all around and in great condition. This was collected in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
Size: 7.5 x 7.0 x 3.0 cm (small-cabinet)
