description:
Brilliant lustrous metallic platy crystals of hematite measuring to 0.6 cm in size set at the top of this large blocky orthoclase crystal matrix. This is in perfect condition all around with no points of attachment. Red crystals of rutile are present epitaxially upon the hematite crystals, typical of this famous locality.
