Brilliant mirror bright lustrous bladed crystals of hematite measuring to 3.0 cm in size on a matrix of crystallized quartz. Small red crystals of rutile are epitaxial upon the hematite crystals. Very slight micro-chipping present, this still a very impressive large cabinet example for this Alpine classic.
