Classic Italian specimen with glistening deep red translucent crystals of grossular averaging 0.15 cm in size across this matrix. A vesuvianite crystal 1.7 cm in length and gemmy is present. Micro crystals of clinochlore scattered throughout. Slight micro-chipping present.
