Bright lustrous stalactitic goethite lining an open vein throughout iron ore matrix. In terrific condition. This is a unique and very good specimen for this famous old locality. This particular specimen has been figured in the magazine The Mineralogical Record, the May, June, 2020 issue, page 442, figure 61. It is also figured in the same magazine in the January, February, 2024 issue page 98, figure 31. This is been on public display at the Denver show 1997, as well as Denver 2023. Also at the Cincinnati 2002, Tucson 2017, and East Coast 2018 shows.
