Mirror bright lustrous crystals of galena to 1.5 cm in size on this thin brecciated matrix with deep red and somewhat iridescent crystals of sphalerite to 1.6 cm in size. The smaller sphalerite crystals are what are known as Ruby Jack crystals, showing translucency and a deep red color. In very good condition, the luster on the galena excellent for this mining district.
