Galena with Dolomite

specimen number:
4272513

location:
Big Bear orebody, Fletcher mine, Viburnum Trend, Reynolds Co., Missouri, USA

description:
Very choice example for this type of twinning for the species from this mining district. A brilliant lustrous flattened penetration twinned galena crystal without matrix. This is complete all around and in great condition. Many people refer to these crystals as spinel law twins, this is incorrect, they are flattened penetration twins.
