specimen number:
5002943
location:
La Viesca mine, La Collada, Asturias, Spain
description:
A loose cluster of light blue lustrous translucent to transparent cubic fluorite crystals, the largest of these 3.0 cm on edge. There are no points of attachment, this is crystallized naturally all around and in great condition. As shown in the video, on the backside of the specimen is a cast of quartz after a now gone scalenohedral calcite crystal. Interesting and attractive.
