location:
Defiance Co., Ohio, USA
description:
Very large gemmy yellowish with purple centers cubic crystals of fluorite forming an 11.0 x 9.5 x 6.0 cm cluster. Decent luster on this one, this is highly translucent to almost transparent. Some chipping and cleaving present, still overall I think in very good condition. Locality as given on the previous label, no more detailed information was available. I think these exceptionally large and attractive crystals for fluorite from one of the Ohio quarries. Shipping weight: 1.51 pounds. Ex Charles Noll collection.
Size: 11.0 x 9.5 x 6.0 cm (cabinet)
