Very fine large cabinet display matrix example for cassiterite from this classic area. The specimen consists of a 16.0 x 14.0 x 6.5 cm crystalline quartz matrix, the top side studded with lustrous black crystals of cassiterite to 1.5 cm in size. Minimal chipping present, this mainly confined to the one edge of the piece, still I think in very nice condition. Sits up perfectly by itself for display and the color contrast helps to set it off nicely. Shipping weight: 4.26 pounds. Ex Ed Raines collection.
