description: Lustrous light pink translucent crystal groupings of calcite measuring to 2.5 cm in size across the front of this hematite matrix. The specimen is in excellent condition. This is brightly fluorescent red under longwave ultraviolet light. Specimen comes with several previous collection labels as shown at the end of the video. Very nice with the underlying hematite lustrous and botryoidal. The specimen has been displayed in numerous large shows across the United States, including the special exhibit at the East Coast show in August, 2018. This important locality closed in 1962.
