Barite with Fluorite
specimen number:
8291033
location:
Xiefang mine, Ruijin Co., Ganzhou, Jiangxi, China
description: The Xiefang mine, located in Ruijin County under the administration of Ganzhou City in Jiangxi Province, China, is a notable volcanic-hydrothermal deposit. It has gained international recognition within the mineral collecting community for producing exceptional crystal specimens, particularly vibrant purple and green fluorite clusters adorned with lustrous, golden tabular barite crystals.
Wonderful combination piece with deep amber colored glassy translucent thick tabular crystals of barite measuring to 2.5 cm on edge aesthetic across the top of a dark purple slightly translucent lustrous crystallized fluorite. This is in terrific condition. The color contrast and combination makes this very pretty.
