Barite with Calcite (repaired?)
specimen number:
4571557
location:
Myers, Treasure Co., Montana, USA
description:
This is an outstanding example for this locality. A gemmy amber colored grouping of barite crystals measuring 3.5 cm in height coming off a pale yellow calcite crystal matrix. Complete all around and in excellent condition. I think that this may be repaired, it appears so but I do not see any glue.
Size: 8.0 x 4.0 x 3.8 cm (small-cabinet)
