Azurite with Malachite
specimen number:
9196020
location:
Lavender Pit, Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
description:
I think this really quite pretty, two nodules of crystallized azurite side-by-side, this slabbed and polished showing the interior with green malachite. The colors are great. On the backside is bladed azurite that does show some chipping, however the focus should be on the polished section.
Size: 6.0 x 3.0 x 2.0 cm (small-cabinet)
