description: From the famous find in 1981, in exceptional glassy translucent purple and even slightly bluish large adamite crystal with little attached matrix in several smaller crystals. In great condition all around. This piece will stand by itself or display. The specimen is figured in The Mineralogical Record, volume 34, page 48, figure 62. originally in the collection of Frank Knechtel, then in the collection of Kerith Graeber. Later sold to Irv Brown.
