Wulfenite
specimen number:
4951428
location:
Ojuela mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
description:
Lustrous caramel colored prismatic crystals of wulfenite measuring to 0.7 cm in length very nice across the front of this matrix. The matrix is mostly covered with a dark botryoidal mineral that looks like descloizite to me. This is in good condition for one of these with very minimal micro-chipping present.
Size: 6.0 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm (small-cabinet)
Collection: Thomas von Criegern
