Some of the finest examples of sphalerite known come from this locality in Spain. This cabinet sized display piece is outstanding. Deep red, gemmy with some backlighting, crystals of sphalerite to 4.0 cm across are scattered beautifully over the top of this sparkling snow white crystallized dolomite matrix. Even on the backside the sphalerite is naturally crystallized. I think in super condition. The quality is about as good as it can get from this locality.
