specimen number:
3151041
location:
Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico
description:
Unusual for this locality, chatoyant slightly translucent pale purple botryoidal crystallized smithsonite covering the top of this thin matrix. A spray of colorless hemimorphite crystals almost 1.5 cm across is present near one edge. This is in very good condition I think.
