Tsumeb Mine, Otjikoto, Namibia
description: Beautiful orange translucent large blocky crystals of smithsonite to almost 2.0 cm on edge over the top of a 6.5 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm matrix. This is in outstanding condition. The color is extremely intense. Some say this color is due to the inclusions of cadmium within the crystal structure. Whatever causes it, it makes for a beautiful specimen. Comes with a custom display base. Ex Marshall Sussman collection.
Size: 6.5 x 5.0 x 4.0 cm (small-cabinet)
