description: An interesting combination specimen showing a grouping of large quartz crystals, these partially coated with glistening lustrous orange red crystals of spessartine. This is completely crystallized all around. This appears to have had several generations of growth, the quartz crystals starting out smoky in color and then becoming coated with spessartine, then something changed In the Quartz became lighter in color and the spessartine crystals stop growing. This is in excellent condition.
