description: Gem quality glassy purple prismatic terminated amethyst crystal 5.0 cm in height coming off a 6.5 x 5.5 x 5.5 cm matrix. Shows nicely all around, this is an outstanding condition. The matrix has been shaped with a trim saw. Neat color zoning with phantom crystals present.
