description:

Large colorless what were scalenohedral crystals of calcite to 4.0 cm in size, these now completely replaced by micro crystalline colorless translucent quartz, over the top of a 12.0 x 8.0 x 6.0 cm matrix. A secondary coating of sparkling light purple amethyst crystals are present on both the bottom and the top of the specimen. In excellent condition and sits nicely by itself for display. Excellent pseudomorph example for this area. Shipping weight: 1.29 pounds.
