A box holding approximately 30 deep red translucent somewhat tumble polished, this naturally, examples of pyrope. The average size per specimen is 0.6 cm. The size provided is the size of the box that holds the crystals. I believe these are found in anthills. The specimen comes with a previous label from the collection of Ray DeMark. He acquired the set in 1949.
