I was first introduced of this locality during the early 1990s on a trip to the Ural Mountains where one man offered a small lot of these exceptional crystals for the species. This current example, a large octahedral floater crystal measuring 11.0 x 10.5 x 10.5 cm in size is pretty much as large as these never attained. Most were half the size or less. This exceptional crystal is a floater that is complete all-around and in outstanding condition. Museum quality piece for the species. Ex Robert Nowakowski collection.
