Pyrite with Dolomite

specimen number:
4111163

location:
Cane Creek quarry, Butler Co., Missouri, USA

description:
Unusual for this locality, these are small crystal groupings of pyrite, intergrown to form a larger cube of pyrite. Minor dolomite present. Normally one only sees marcasite from this locality. If one looks close however, you can tell that these are small cubic crystals built up to make a larger cubic crystal.
