Pyrite with Chlorite
specimen number:
3651304
location:
Morro Velho mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil
description:
A cluster of sharp interpenetrating pyrite crystals heavily coated with micro green chlorite crystals. A couple of areas with some minor contacting on the backside as seen in the video, still in good condition. Kind of unusual and I think quite neat for this locality. The Stewart label notes an acquisition date of 1974 from Dick Hauck.
