description: Wonderful historic specimen showing a brick red blocky crystal of monazite just over 2.0 cm in size studded at the top of a 6.5 x 4.0 x 3.0 cm matrix. Previous label from the collection of noted author John Sinkankas, this notations stating that the specimen was acquired from famed American collector Edwin Over in 1963. A superb example for the species from this area and in excellent condition. Ex Phil Martin collection.
