description:
In exceptional pseudomorph specimen for this locality with an extremely large sharp cubic crystal of what was once pyrite 4.5 cm on edge replaced now by semi lustrous brown limonite. This is set on a granitic matrix with gemmy orange red spessartine crystals present. At first this appears to have been repaired, but I believe the tiny amount of glue I did see in one crack was simply to stabilize the piece. Overall in super condition.
