A very good example for this Mexican classic, several clusters of bladed crystals measuring to 3.5 cm across are set nicely up on matrix. It is unknown what the previous crystals were, these have been replaced by hydroxylapatite. This one is in good condition. A previous data card comes from the collection of William Schultz of Wabash, Indiana. The specimen dates to the early 1970s. At one time these were called forbesite.
