description: An outstanding rare cabinet size specimen from this old locality. The specimen shows fanlike crystal sprays of bluish green translucent lustrous hemimorphite to 1.5 cm across covering most of the front side of a 12.0 x 8.0 x 5.0 cm matrix. Very minimal damage present along the edges of the piece, all of the interior prominent crystals are in excellent condition. This was an old silver mine and was noted by Dana in the sixth volume of his set. Comes with a previous label from the US National Museum. Photos by Joe Budd.
