Classic Swiss Alpine specimen with lustrous bladed metallic crystals of hematite to 2.5 cm across forming a cluster with little attached matrix. In very good condition with minimal micro-chipping present, small crystals of rutile epitaxial up on the hematite faces as is typical for the locality.
