description:
Brilliant lustrous octahedral crystals of galena measuring to 3.5 cm in size, some of the showing twinning, on a crystallized pyrite matrix. A grouping of what were once pyrrhotite crystals 3.0 cm across now replaced by crystallized sphalerite is present along the lower right side of the piece. In terrific condition. The galena crystals are mirror bright and extremely lustrous.
