Galena
specimen number:
4751034
location:
Tsumeb mine, Otjikoto, Namibia
description: Very choice grouping of twinned galena crystals measuring to 1.0 cm in size without matrix. This is in terrific condition all around. Good specimens of crystallized galena were never common at this locality. Previous labels as shown at the end of the video refer to these as spinel law twins, which most people erroneously think. These are actually flattened penetration twinned crystals.
